#126 Hunter Hewitt Ends SX Season On A High Note!
#126 Rockstar Energy Suzuki Rider and Coach Seiji personal training client Hunter Hewitt continued his steady improvement at the East vs. West Lites Class Shootout this past weekend in Las Vegas. Building upon his previous career best 8th place finish earned the previous week in Salt Lake City, Hunter carried this momentum into the final race of the 2010 Supercross Season.
This final round is unique for the Lites class as it is the only race of the season that pits the West Coast Lites riders with the East Coast Lites riders. The race participants must be in the top 20 in overall ranking on their regional divisions making this race field the fastest Lites field in the country.
Hunter got off to a great start in his West Coast only heat race and battled not only the fastest West Coast riders but also the sketchy track which was watered heavily. Hunter fought hard and took advantage of his start to emerge with a 6th place finish, his best heat race result of the season.
Hunter again shot off the main event starting line with a great start and battled the 20 fastest Lites class riders in the nation throughout the 15 lap main event. His efforts ended with a well deserved 12th place.
All those involved with Team #126 are proud of his efforts and achievements during this Supercross season and look forward to the Great Outdoors!
