Shorty Into Forced Rest After Dallas SX

Coach Seiji personal training cleint #29 Andrew Short made a valiant effort to race the Dallas edition of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Series but will be forced to take a few weeks off to let shoulder injuries that were sustained last weekend in San Diego heal. The Supercross.com/Honda rider and trainer Coach Seiji did everything possible during the week to promote healing of the injuries sustained in the first turn crash last weekend but the stresses of riding at this premier level proved too much. Andrew received preventative taping and went out for the first untimed practice but soon realized that his shoulder felt unstable and unsafe for riding. Andrew, ever determined, tried riding the second practice after more taping but the writing was on the wall and the smart decision would be to retire from the race.

Andrew, trainer and the entire team are of course disappointed but are even more determined to do what is necessary to get #29 back out there and riding at his best. Stay tuned...
