Goodbye to Loretta Lynn's 2011
What a week it has been at Loretta Lynn's. 34 classes, each with 42 riders, a unique track that eliminates any home-field advantage, and the constant battle to win the championship- all in six grueling days. Hundreds of determined motocross racers gave it their all in the hopes of winning the coveted number one plate at the 2011 Red Bull AMA National Motocross Championship.
Coach Seiji online clients #36 Landon Currier, #23 Jamison Duclos, and Coach Seiji personal training client #14 Bryce Dozier each achieved personal goals and successfully completed the prestigious week in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Extreme Rockstar Energy/ Suzuki rider Currier finished the week with the following scores in the 250 A class: 8th in Moto 1, 19th in Moto 2, and 6th in Moto 3, earning an overall 9th place class finish. His scores in the 450A race were: 10th in Moto 1, 3rd in Moto 2, and 6th in Moto 3, earning him a 6th place class finish.
Cycle Center of Denton/Thor rider Dozier finished the week with the following scores in the 250 B Mod class: 17th in Moto 1, DNF in Moto 2, and 10th in Moto 3, placing him in a 22nd place class finish. For the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C class Dozier accomplished: 18th in Moto 1, 19thin Moto 2, and 16th in Moto 3, with an overall 16th place class finish.
Rock River Powersports mini pilot Duclos finished the week with the following scores in the 85 (12-14) Stock class: 31st in Moto 1, 25th in Moto 2, and 28th in Moto 3 with a 34th place overall class finish. His scores for the Super Mini 1 (12-15) were as follows: 30th in Moto 1, 22nd in Moto 2, and 26th in Moto 3, adding up to a 25th place class finish.
It's goodbye to Loretta Lynn's 2011 and to another remarkable year of amateur racing. The competition, supporting community, and experience were unmatched and something to look forward to next year.
It was an honor for Coach Seiji to work with Currier, Duclos, and Dozier as they each chased their own personal goals this season. Coach Seiji would like to thank his clients for sharing their talent with him and to congratulate them on a successful year.
