Loretta Lynn Motocross National Off To A Great Start

Gates dropped early Tuesday morning for the first race of the 30th Annual Red Bull AMA Amateur Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Riders, family and industry professionals all gathered to watch thousands of the world’s best amateur motocross racers compete in what is considered to be the most important amateur race of the season.  Among the competitors were Coach Seiji online clients Landon Currier, #36, Jamison Duclos, #23 and Coach Seiji personal training client Bryce Dozier, #14.

Extreme Rockstar Suzuki rider Currier kicked off the week with an intense practice on Monday, preparing for the highly anticipated A class motos.  “I was up at the crack of  dawn, I was checking it all out,” said Currier. Currier landed top ten scores in both of his races, earning the following scores for Moto 1: 8th- 250A, 10th- 450A.

Rock River Powersports mini pilot Duclos also finished off the day with significant scores for Moto 1: 31st- 85 (12-14) Stk., 30th- Super Mini 1 (12-15). Additionally, Cycle Center  of Denton/Thor rider Dozier earned notable scores for Moto 1 in both of his classes: 17th- 250 B Mod, 18th- Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C.

Both the competition and the weather are heating up as Loretta Lynn’s continues its six days of racing, and these three riders have only just begun. Coach Seiji is on site to offer support and encouragement to his hard working riders and wishes them the best of luck in the days to come.
