Shorty Improves In His Home State!
#29 Red Bull/KTM Factory Racing pilot Andrew Short overcame some early adversity to post his best MX season overall to date in his home state of Colorado. The Coach Seiji personal training client overcame the altitude, the extremely rutted track and a practice session get-off to end his short trip to his home state on a high note.
Andrew struggled a bit in the practice sessions, his first at altitude aboard the 350cc displacement machine, and suffered a crash that fortunately did not result in an injury. His efforts netted him a 14th overall qualifying position.
Andrew turned it around in the race motos; solid starts, determination and some home town mojo no doubt earned the always jovial rider 7-8 scores for 5th overall, his best outdoor performance of the 2011 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series.
Coach Seiji would like to congratulate Andrew on a fine performance and looks forward to carrying this momentum forward!
