Andrew Short Strong at San Diego!

Coach Seiji client #29 Andrew Short continued with his strong performances this past weekend at the San Diego round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series. The Red Bull/KTM Factory Racing pilot earned a hard fought 6th place main event finish after battling not only the most stacked SX class in recent history but also extremely tricky track conditions due the rain that fell on the majority of the event.

Andrew continued his recent streak of good starts to stay at the front of his heat race to finish 5th to easily move on to the main event.

The main event provided the challenges of a fully stacked gate and a rapidly deteriorating track. Andrew again gated well to emerge in 3rd place after the slippery start. He rode conservatively for the majority of the main event due to the treacherous conditions. Andrew held 4th place but would be passed in a tricky on off section made even more tricky due to the ever increasing mud and would eventually card a hard earned 6th place.

Congrats to Andrew Short and crew and onward to Atlanta!
