Triathlon/Multi-sport and Cycling Coaching
Our training philosophy begins with the creation of an annual training plan, based on your race goals and training time. Breaking the season into specific periods allows us to build your aerobic fitness base, while also preparing you for greater intensity in following periods. We also emphasize frequent and consistent testing to assess progress and for development and modification of training schedules.
Custom triathlon and cycling training programs typically include:
- Schedule periodization - base, build, and peak periods.
- Periodic testing - time, heart rate, power, lactate threshold
- Heart rate training - for base and aerobic training.
- Train by power - beneficial in all training periods (cycling).
- Strength training - improve power.
- Nutrition - assessment and recommendations.
- Recovery - recommended techniques and methods.

Massage Therapy
Sports-centered massage therapy, including deep tissue, myofascial release, soft tissue manipulation and other techniques used to aid in recovery from injury and prevention of future problems. Postural, work related, and athletic activity patterns addressed and corrections are made to help in the prevention of repeated injury. Soft tissue alignment, mobility, and circulation manipulated and maintained.

Bicycle Fitting
Proper fit of the bicycle to the rider is essential for powerful and efficient cycling. We offer two types of bicycle fitting services:
Ergonomic Fit - $80.00
Based on body segment lengths and joint angle measurements during cycling, the bicycle is fitted to provide a base for biomechanically safe and efficient pedaling stroke. Comfort and efficiency increase and injuries diminish with a proper ergnomic fit.
Power Fit - $110.00
The power based fit involves monitoring and analyzing the pedal stroke during submaximal effort and fine tuning the position to create the most power at a constant heart rate. The pedaling stroke is also graphically analyzed to ensure that the most powerful position is also the position the produces the cleanest biomechanics. Increase your power and efficiency with a power-based bicycle fit.
Personal Training
For over seven years Coach Seiji has trained every level of athlete, from beginners to internationally ranked elite athletes. Whether your goal is to create a healthy body and workout routine, recover from injury, increase athletic performance, or just to look and feel better, Coach Seiji's dedicated approach will help you exceed your goals quickly and safely. ACSM Certified, BS in Kinesiology, and immeasurable enthusiasm.

Coach Seiji and Dean Ultimate Bicycles bring you the ultimate in custom bicycles. Coach Seiji analyzes your current bicycle setup and measures body segments and joint angles for a comfortable and powerful fit on a bike made just for you!
Based in Boulder, Colorado, Dean specializes in custom titanium frames with the fit and ride characteristics that will make your cycling more enjoyable and efficient. Big Shot Package
- Workout schedule administered monthly based on annual training plan.
- Workout logs reviewed multiple times per week to ensure proper recovery and compliance.
- Program/workout adjustments made by coach as often as necessary upon consultation with athlete.
- Unlimited contact via email, usually same day reply.
- Phone conferences by appointment, up to 2 hours/month.
- Pre-event tactics and strategy planning/post-event analysis.
- Sports psychology training and exercise prescription.
- Workout schedule administered monthly based on annual training plan.
- Workouts schedules around 12 week blocks.
- Program/workout adjustments made once per month.
- All program adjustments discussed with athlete.
- Email contact up to 2 hour/month, usually same day reply.
- Phone contact by appointment, up to 30 minutes/month.
- Start up fee does not reassess unless there is a 9 month lapse.
